December 10, 2011, Chairman and CEO presents Community Entrepreneurship Collaboration at Edward Waters College. This is an ongoing program to help promote small business and entrepreneurship throughout the community.  We strongly encourage the participation of established businesses and corporations to increase our business participation rate here in Northeast Florida.

September 2008 Multicultural Economic Opportunity Summit sponsored by The Florida Black Chamber, CSX, JaxPort, & Visit Jacksonville. (See pictures here)
Over 400 participants and 30 organizations came forward to offer networking; employment opportunities; and small business opportunties. Workshops were also provided by Nate Scott, Brian McElyea, Malik Ali (FMSDC), and Live on The Street. The engaging speaker was Mickey Rawls. Special thanks to Will Daniels and the entire library staff for assisting us in this great event. Thank you to all participants and sponsors. We look forward to improving next year.
